RE:RE:A note on timeline and some thoughtsI have a tendency to look too closely at CRE's performance, when I should back up and get a broader view.
Since February :
ALB lost 21 %
PLL lost 12%
RCK lost 44%
LAC lost 19%
SQM lost 26%
CRE lost 38%
FL lost 36%
So if exterior factors (interest rates, inflation, war, ect..) can make 20% swings with large established lithium producers, it can certainly swing juniors even more.
Without a signed deal, even if CRE is one of the front runner juniors, it remains just that...a junior.
The latest update news could not tell us a date, and we sort of expected that. But it did say that the financing could be concluded between today and end of August.
Other info was that we have money in the bank for the deforestation to go ahead as planned and also ordering of long wait machinery. So that is going ahead.
The construction timeline is still on. Mass dillution is still out of the question.
On the demand side, both Volkswagen and Tesla are working to produce lower priced EV's that match price with their ICE counterparts.
China's EV sales for May were the highest ever.
