RE:Moving up?The merger was accepted by the majority of Ranger shareholders in February before this merger was announced. I do not expect the finalization of this deal to provide any reason for the share price to suddenly go up. Why should it? There is nothing new to report. Everything about this deal and Ranger Oil is already known. The share price already reflects what the market thinks is a fair price for these two companies after they are combined.
BTE is closely tied to the price of oil. If and when WTI goes back up, BTE will start to go up. Until then, expect to see more sideways trading at the current level.
