RE:RE:Could Feds pressure on caribou conservation haunt Genmokay ... this is theoretically an absolute death knell ...
if this company has three cents worth of savvy ... or two cents worth of communications-consultancy horsepower to draw on ...
they better get out front of this ASAP ...
as much as i rag on them, they DID do the work to appease every last environmentalist as far as i know ... and i sort through the genm grains of sand on a daily basis ...
they have to disprove this foggy notion NOW. and not with some idiotic 1971 PP webinar ... they need to call in favors ... and make real news knocking this down and creating momentum hand in hand with everyone they can find that matters.
they better be sitting up late tonight as we speak ... working the phones, and strategizing this now.
this play is already dying of inertia ... even if they can disprove this "concern" .... and cleanly get out from under the cloud it brings with it ... it will take five years to do so .... if they plod along at the pace they've so far exhibited ...
someone / everyone at GENM has to call a meeting ... establish the meeting format as russian roulette ... then consoidate all the people who support critical mineral strategy .... local / indigenous jobs .... green mining ... economic development ... etc etc .... as one
consistent and exsasperhated POV ...
... and say: it's time everyone put their money where their mouth is ... either drive this project forward with conviction and make this mine happen, or confirm everyone's default beliefs that any big new ideas about minerals / technology / environmenntalism ... is just another empty tag line.
Somehow ... i don't think the current GENM comms team can ramp it up to anywhere NEAR that level.
Come on .. i know you all hate me ... but i've been squawking about this forever. This limp respect for the process ... ("thinking we'll get a weed-eater permit by October") ... is nuts. The world is flying by.
At this point ? All us longs have been beat up and clobbered on the SP ....I'd rather them think about a chips on the table / now or never strategy than bleed to death like a rube.
Thoughts ?
