cari-BOO!

cari-BOO!okay ... this caribou stress is theoretically an absolute death knell for GENM.

if this company has three cents worth of savvy ... or two cents worth of communications-consultancy horsepower to draw on ...

they better get out front of this ASAP ...

as much as i rag on them, genm DID do the work to address sustainability and caribou empowerment.

even so: they have to disprove this hair-brained notion NOW.

and not with some Steamboat Willy / etch-a-sketch webinar ...

they need to call in favors ... create real news about themselves  ...   imaginatively tell and repeat their story hand in hand with everyone that has impact and influence and support for the brand  ... and turn this story backwards immediately.

[as an aside: GENM and their comms grifters better be Zooming as we speak ...  strategizing a response.]

Because sadly .... GENM has atrophied about as much as anyone can bear ... so if  management yawns and hopes this elk yarn will drift over the horizon like an actual card-carrying elk ... they better think again.

Someone GENM better have already called a meeting ... and made clear to all concerned that it's russian roulette time.

Step one: consoidate all the voices who preach critical mineral strategy .... local / indigenous job creation .... green mining ... junior miner enterprenurialism ... economic development ... government relevancy and credibility ... into one idealized, energized and passionate coalition ..

then ... do i even need to say this ? work the media .. hand deliver them a story (or threaten to) about a smart, upstart company who is the embodiment of every progressive idea listed above, but predictably died in the same old Tammany Hall-flavoured quicksand .

... and then say: it's time everyone put their money where their mouth is ... either drive this project forward with conviction and make this mine happen, or confirm everyone's default beliefs that any progressive / poser ideas that governments dress themselves in, usually aren't worh the paper they're printed on.

Somehow ... i don't think the current GENM comms team can ramp it up to anywhere NEAR that level.

Come on .. i know you all hate me ... but i've been squawking about this forever. This timid doping by the process ... ("word is, we're in the mix to get conditionally short-listed for a weed-eating permit by October") ... is nuts. As much as I usually don't like influencing and insiderism in politics ... come on:

The world is flying by.

At this point ? All us longs have been beat up and clobbered on the SP for long enough  ....I'd rather mgmt take a chips on the table / now or never posture  ... rather than we all bleed to death like rubes

Thoughts ?
