I agree that it looks like STZ

I agree that it looks like STZhas fumbled the ball with Canopy and Acreage, or have they?

The constant decline could be a part of the plan.  This whole decimation of the value in Canopy and Acreage could be for the swoop in that may be in the works for STZ to pick up all the shares.

I have experienced this before where the major shareholder just screws everything up so badly that it tanks the price and then they come in as the white knight with double the beaten down shareprice, take it or leave it and buy up the whole company which also makes it easy to drop the public listing and become a private company.

STZ isn't going to jeapordize STZ because STZ is doing fine, growing and paying dividends.  Good publicly traded company with reasonable happy shareholders although those shareholders might have concerns because they are the largest shareholder of Canopy and Acreage plus the deal to take Canopy to the US as Canopy USA LLC with the LLC designation has me trying to figure out if they are going straight to a private company.

Initially STZ paid dearly for Canopy shares but are still going deeper in the potbiz despite despite the unbelievable downturn in value.  Stupid move or smart business, buying when cheap!

Tilray seems to be copying STZ by buying up breweries and distilleries but with the same goal of cannabinoid infused beverages when they get the politics sorted out to enable some success stories.

What I see as needed is a National program where cannabinoids can cross State lines legally and be served in the same venues as alcohol is currently.

The commonsense train went off the rails when the powers who be decided that the beer and toke option needs to be stopped and that pot and liquor need their own bar and never the two shall meet, served together or sold at the same venue.

That is not to say that I want to sit in the pub with a drink and having somebody choking me out with pot smoke coming out of a joint or a bunch of smoking paraphanalia.

THC drinks with a little buzz or maybe you get some pain relief from your choice of cannabinoid offering would be a nice option to consuming too much alcohol and as far as the concerns of overconsumption or mixing the two needs to be outlawed that is bs as far as I am concerned.  Let adults be adults!  Nobody warned me about too much red wine and whisky shooters but I learned.

What about if you just went to the bar to treat your arthritis with a drink instead of the Voltaren or Oxy.

I think current alcohol venues would be silly to reject this as cannibalizing their alcohol sales.

I'm guessing they would make it up in food sales, munchies and all, lol!
