There is no validity to your point in my opinion.
If Clearwater made a huge profit on the bonds ( which I doubt), they sure could have taken that money and invested it elsewhere.
If they weren't thinking Sherritt stock is a good investment they wouldn't have bought.
20 million is 20 million wheather they had just made it in bonds or found it under the mattress, it's still 20 million they are investing.
