That sounded like you were concerned about insider selling.
But I agree 10000%, why aren't they buying at least a token number of shares through the NCIB? What is the point of having one if you won't buy when the share price is collapsing? To me, that might indicate their free cash flow isn't adequate, which may be why others are selling, worried there is another shoe to drop?
And yes, when the company goes silent, investors tend to think the worst. I have to admit, nothing is guaranteed, and we could get another November "surprise", but my dollar is on success, not failure.
