RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Something to consider regarding M&A vote

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Something to consider regarding M&A voteI, like many ATC shareholders will hold my nose and look the other way until I can exit without a loss.

I don't fault Hecla, pirates do what pirates do:  they prey on the innocent.

I can fault the shortsighted ATC shareholders who are voting to being tied down to HL, but in your defense it is not entirely your fault.

The issue is that we had weak management who was not willing or able to properly negotiate and be willing to walk away from a lowball offer.

I'll chalk this one up to horrible timing.  Had buyout talks ensued in an environment of $2,500+ gold prices we'd have more leverage.  This puppy just wasn't able to make it to the finish line and petered out before the gold bull party was able to ramp into high gear.  Very sad given its 20 year history.

My losses are minimal and will eventually be reversed.  The ones we must truly feel sorry for are the real long-timers who have average ATC share basis costs above $1.  Were they sold a false bill of goods or what?!
