Updates coming soon from Fathom Nickel Sounds like it's good news to me. They must really like what the geophysics is showing because Fathom is going all in on Gochager. See below for details. Fathom Nickel will be giving regular updates going forward. It's going to be very exciting to be a Fathom shareholder over the next several months as this discovery takes shape. FNI will be going much higher.
@MurrkyWaters Looking Great... Drilling at Gochager will now commence in early August. We are just now finalizing service contracts. While the supply of qualified drill contractors has actually improved versus last year, air support is very tight due to the forest fire situation across the entire country. We have a number of firms that we have used in the area in the past and we expect to have that nailed down in the next week or two. Quinton’s initial views that we would begin drilling in early July was based on the timing of the EM work and post-field interpretation and analysis. However, we are working on two things to reduce and, ultimately nearly eliminate the need for a helicopter at Gochager: We have a permit application into the Saskatchewan ministry to construct a 20-25 person camp. This will eliminate the need for daily ferrying of field crews from Missinipe to the project. We hope to have this permit in place in late July and begin moving the camp into Gochager to support this summer’s program. This will result in a dramatic reduction in drill costs; We have a separate permit application to re-establish a network of winter trails that lead from Highway 102 right into the Gochager project. This will not impact this summer’s program but if we get this permit in place by November/December we bring in equipment to skid the drill rig and eliminate the need for heli-support for future rig movements. Both of these initiatives will lead to a significant reduction in all-in drill costs – thus allowing for increased meterage. We will be releasing info on the BHEM program that has been underway at Gochager for a couple of weeks now. Our geophysicist team continue to work on the interpretation and analysis. A press release will be issued once we have their complete data. We totally agree on shareholder communication. Our intention is to provide regular, but meaningful information as it becomes available. Our expectation is that between now and the end of the year we will see at least 2 noteworthy releases per month.
