RE:In the true sense

RE:In the true senseJust a thought to ponder about electronic highspeed trading. The time between when you post a trade & when you receive confirmation can allow trading sites to profit from higherspeed transactions. Imagine you submit a sell at $1, then the SP rises to $1.02 before the website confirms the sell. The website can sell for $1.02 in micro-seconds then confirm your sell at $1 at no financial risk. Suppose they submit a buy for you at $.98 & SP rises to $1. Before they confirm the buy order, they can buy & sell at $1 in micro-seconds before you get confirmation. Your order may or may be filled. I'm not saying this happens, however, I have received late confirmation of trades in the past & have always wondered what was happening during the delay.
