RE:Shutdowns????An advanced and modern booking system is what Transat did not have in 2019 and still don't have. It works ok for near time bookings but they usually underprice bookings 8 to 12 months out. That sounds like it is good for customers. But if it's ultimately cutting the legs off the company and its investors it's not a good plan. That's why they tried to sell themselves to AC. The post covid air travel demand will cover up these deficiencies for a while but eventually these weaknesses will break them,
post covid AC is more dominant than it was before covid. The free cash flow in next years will prove this. Canada's uncontrolled population explosion fuelled by unplanned immigration will further support AC profitability, even through a recession. When other stocks will be down, AC will rise.
