Wasn't that a doozy!

Wasn't that a doozy! That book report of a financial filing!  I though these reports were meant to inform shareholders and investors of how well a company is doing.

Anything that convoluted was a waste of time which reinforces my desire to see accounting reports to be legislated to prevent this creative reporting that exceeds, even the chosen ones that are educated to perform financial reporting from understanding what is really going on.  Think BioSteel as proof of my conviction.

If Klein put a tenth of the effort in to informing shareholders that are succumbing to this massive pile of continual bad news while we sit on the fence of ignorance in regards to the inked deal that Canopy has with Acreage for putting down an American footprint where Canopy swaps shares at about 1 Canopy for 3 Acreage Fixed and 1 Canopy for 2 Acreage floating shares with the intention being Canopy launching their brands in Acreage Multi State Operator and all of the storefronts in several States.

The synergies of this deal will shake up the whole industry just like STZ did with their initial fortay into Canopy Growth by waving around $5 billion C dollars.

Canopy has had bad treatment from investors while under attack from shortsellers and marketmakers and I sense protectionism from US potpreneurs too, although US investors are buying and selling significant amounts of shares of a company that is in no-man's land which I describe as the place between legal and illegal because of the shakey deal that the pro-pot States have with the Feds who haven't declassified marijuana out of the hard drugs legislation with heavy, heavy penalties, if they choose to make an issue of it and recapture their enforcement from the pro-pot States.

The heavy trading by US investors in Canopy suggest that they are leaning and relying heavily on descheduling marijuana from Fed control or outright legalization which voters are screaming for such that they get a National program to set the basic rules for potpreneurs and allow them access to banking and brokering tools that every other US business is entitled to and including beverage alcohol.

Potpreneurs should have access and a level playing field with beverage alcohol including access to regular bar and lounge venues rather than the archaic mandate of having to build their own separate facility.  That must have been mandated by some do-gooder intent on protecting newbies from combining consumption of the two vices or they had an ulterior motive to capitalize on new pot bar businesses to come up with that bs legislation.

Klein has a plan and has had to deal with some very unlevel playing fields especially in Canada where government refused to listen to lobbyists initially and left the industry in distress with crazy posession limits and plain wrapper packaging plus reclusing serving thc infused beverages in alcohol venues, even though it is a no-brainer.  They also cut the alcohol business out of dispensing the new vice from the same sales locations where they sell alcohol even though they were well versed in controlling access to minors from their alcohol experience.

Duplicating a side by side business is stupid, costly and detrimental to fair play for the new, healthier vice of cannabinoids.

The Americans have an opportunity to take the best points of all those bills presented, passed and unsigned by potus and put them together with a National plan to set the rules for all of the US States to assist the launch of a National Marijuana Vice that is showing promise of being a healthier option for alcohol imbibers.

Less calories and sugar in those THC infused for fat, old, prediabetic North Americans when they sub the THC for alcohol and an opportunity to pull tax dollars from the no tax dollars being generated by the black market players and no Fentanyl contamination by those black market players to get consumers hooked and the deaths that accompany by overconsumption of the same.

And don't forget the pharma potential that Vets and others are getting from marijuana and hemp consumption, mostly unproven other than word of mouth but a huge supply chain built on this potential.

I'm off to the bar honey, to treat my aches and pains and have a visit with my posse! lol!
