RE:Oy Vey.....Poor Suncor!!!

RE:Oy Vey.....Poor Suncor!!!As this story is JUST developping and not much is known in terms of details at this time, for obvious reasons of course, as the company will want to mitigate any internal or PR damages from the eventual fallout. But there has been a "small" update from Suncor mgmt in reagards to the severity of the issue, for those who are interested in following this intriguing story or have somekinf of personal vested interest. These are a few quotes from a reptuable news outlet from sources within Suncor in the last 24hres.

"Ian L. Paterson, CEO of Vancouver-based cybersecurity company Plurilock Security Inc., said these public-facing issues could be "just the tip of the iceberg." He added that as early as Friday, he was also hearing about Suncor employees being unable to log in to their own internal accounts."

This as well.....

"All of these things put together seem to suggest that there could be a sizable cyber incident that's taking place," Paterson said, cautioning that much is still unknown about the current situation."

And this too....

"I think that this actually could be the Canadian Colonial Pipeline, just in the sense that Suncor is such a large part of the economy."

I don't know HOW BAD this is, has been or will be, but it seems to be VERY serious with VERY serious implications & consequences according to the reports & rumors slowing trickling out of the company.
