RE:RE:SA ArticleSpeaking of management, if we go back about 4 years to the Levon/Discovery merger, Discovery had a few marginal exploration projects and bought us Levon shareholders out in the merger. Fast forward to today and the Discovery exploration projects have all been abandoned or written off, meaning, there is literally NOTHING (save maybe one or two remaining managers) left of the original Discovery.
In effect, a company with nothing bought out Levon and the Cordero project. Well, we got the Oxygen management group, but in retrospect it was a heavy price to pay to acquire a "name brand" management group. I get that they are progressing the project, but I wish that we had gotten a fairer exchange for our shares considering that Discovery brought only their name to the merger and effectively nothing else.
The point of this post is that if Discovery was able to acquire a project of this magnitude for effectively nothing, they better damn well pull a bigger rabbit out of their hats come a few years down the road if they get into serious negotiations if potential suitors come knocking. They need to "pay it forward" to compensate us original Levon shareholders for sticking with them!
