Most of these old pellets plants that you are refering to will be shut down in 10-20 years because they are producing high silica iron ore pellets which need to be processed by existing conventional carbon blast furnace.
This is why Arcelor is building the largest in the world integrated flotation/ pellets plants in Port Cartier to make low silica pellets which will be reduced using Hydrogen in their new DRI/ EAF plant being built in Europe. Vale is following suite in the Middle East with Hydrogen DRI ( Direct Reduced Iron).
Keep dreaming if you think that any large co will waste ressource time and energy by investing in obsolete technology. And dont worry...2050 is tomorrow to revolutionize the steel industry.
