BLUEHELMETCleantechnia doesn't have enough knowledge in that article.
Blue hydrogen will likely be double the cost of gray hydrogen when everything is said and done. Green hydrogen will probably be double the cost of blue hydrogen. That means desulfurization is going to become 2-4 times as expensive, and that’s another economic strike against Alberta’s product. When there’s a lot of oil in the world that is sweet and light, why pay more for oil that’s heavy and sour? Using a river turbine to produce free electrcity and making
Green Hydrogen would ring in cheapest.
Establishing a " footprint " in Alberta, and as mentioned on
the Peace River - nearby pipeline ( infastructure ) linking
the hydrogen to existing pipeline hubs to distribute even
stateside = smartest.
VIDEO What he does not talk about is, electrolyte catalyst.
Here is where the salts would come into play.
VIDEO ( enjoy )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lrBcof0d-0 In the video his calculations are = 35/L min
But... my figures ring in at -
43.4/L per min 43.4/L min
2,604/L hour
62,496/L ( 24/h day )
62.4/tonnes of gas
If a hydrogen car can travel 60/km on 1/L hydrogen
Then, this small unit could service -
624 vehicles using 100/km day
Again, imagine this scaled up using a large
river turbine = free electrcity.
= Very cheap Green Hydrogen..
200kw river ( turbine ) all kinds to choose from.

Yet... has Canada seen any new hydrogen production from smaller
companies - lol.
I feel the stumbling block revolves around Alberta.
New mandates to lower co2 emissions and phasing out oil
and the problem of catering to oil companies Gov't offering
green resolutions inwhich they can continue in the energy business.
Hence - repurposing existing indastructure which uses steam
and distillation separation, imparting co2 from nat gas.
What's not talked about is how much water is used and how co2
is always a byproduct.
If Canada was serious with their promotion of green energy,
thru'd allow smaller co's to compete - full stop.
The concept above needs to be embraced.
With the addition of, the hydrogen produced accommodating...
- heat fuel
- fuel for vehicle ( salt hydroxides ) on demand pumps
- hydrogen fuel used to feed electrcal generation.
