In 2017 Union Gas( which had 1.5 million costumers) amalgamated with Enbridge.
I was a Union Gas Co's customer myself.
Interestingly Pembina also was involved in natural gas in southern Ontario 20 years ago, but their
job sites were abandonned for some reason.
I suspect some of the Union's gas wells are still productive. The Ontario Energy Board would have the details of that for what its worth.
