Don't you ever tire of repeating this message everytime a long makes an even modestly optimistic post? A lot of us longs are up a boatload of money. We are about to make a lot more when this thing takes off towards the fall. Let's compare earning around Christmas and decide whether "buy & hold" is the loser strategy you suggest.
