RE:Something just does not sound or look right
Not all juniors, either exploration or mining are in a downtrend, depends on what you are holding. The sector as a whole sure is but anybody who is paying attention knows that. And when they are down the right projects are when you should be buying. Obviously both of you spent too much of your lunch money on CCD. You had ample opportunity to buy it at .02 USD cents and sell all or part of it at much higher prices, but I get the sense you didn't do anything remotely close to that. So you partly made your own bed through untimely buys, not selling any shares at higher prices or just asleep at the wheel. Different management in there now who has done a nice job under the circumstances, raising capital, ridding debt, restructuring costs etc. Like I mentioned in another message, according to Lorne Harder they have one person getting compensated at an hourly rate on a as needed basis.
As far as Golden Minerals go, they have spent 2.5M drilling on the Sarita Este project since 2019 earning a 51% interest in the project. Not sure what you are paying attention too bud. So your statement about most of it not going in the ground doesn't even make sense as developing that project has been front and center. They have a large catalyst coming down the road that should generate millions in free cash flow depening on what volume they will be able to produce.
As far as the comment about just buying CCD out at a 100% premium, do you really think the largest shareholders would part with their stock at a 100% premium at these prices? That is very naive to say the least.
Good luck with your investing in the resource sector.
Chen Lin is a good one to follow on the resource sector, also Jeff Clark, Ron Struthers and a few others that I have subscribed to for over 15 years.
