It'Saul Good man!Gheezus, look at all the lawyers coming out of the woodwork! Better call Saul!
What if Team Klein is on top of this Canopy Growth USA plan and can pull it off.
Don't forget where Klein comes from and that Big Brother Constellation Brands who are a moneymaking machine in the booze biz.
Marketcap of $45 billion'ish compared to ACB, TRUL, CRON, TLRY, CURA, CL, GTII and ACRG combined marketcap of less than $10 billion and those are current numbers after Constellation coughed up $5 billion for Canopy, initially and probably a couple more billion for control of Canopy and Acreage, that in the good times was valued at over $4 billion (bargain basement price of $38 million) and another half a dozen US companies of interest to lock up brands for their Americanization.
Constellation also has their own lending facility that has supported some US public companies!
Constellation are progressive, forward thinkers that I believe are covering their butts for the loss of marketshare when cannabinoid infused beverages hit full stride by purchasing control of Canopy. Canopy has almost a dozen cannabinoid infused recipes for beverages already tweaked and tested in Canada and full intention to bring them to the US to show investors that they see the future and are moving towards it, like the smart business people that they are.
I know that this looks red or black as far as an investment but Canopy was the company that woke the world to the potential of the cannabis and hemp market and kudos to the US players who saw what Canopy saw for potential and made it work in legal US States for either adult rec use or pharma use and some did it profitably.
I don't believe that Constellation is going to walk from their $5 billion investment when they can continue to support their deal for Canopy USA until after the right-sizing that is going to eliminate most of the potpreneurs in favour of the well financed with borrowing ability and Big Brother backers.
That is the nexus for the underfinanced is not being able to raise money because the Big Guys are already concentrating on dumping the non-sellers and cutting losses on losing operations. Constellation will bring that alcohol marketing expertise to the cannabinoid business.
I once thought they were only buying in for the cannabinoid infused beverages to protect the marketshare they expect to lose to pot drinks but I think now, that they are realizing the potential of the cannabinoid business is going to be huge, maybe bigger than alcohol because of the brands that they are locking up, some of which complement the pot biz and others that are just money-makers.
For Canopy shareholders and Acreage shareholders, Klein's being able to pull this together will be huge news for our shareprice. On par with SAFE, at least and may help to contribute to decriminalization or legalization in the US.

Constellation can hit the market and pick up whatever they want by way of cannabinoid companies or branding rights, recipes of profitable skus that they want.
Current prices are so beaten down and Constellation paid dearly, initially for a stake in Canopy but have been bottomfeeding to strengthen
