RE:Cuba is a highly educated country. Woman Yes, Cuba is very educated...in fact the populous is one of the most literate in the world I believe.

Significant income is derived from Cuban trained doctors sent abroad in exchange for monies/energy etc. the government then uses domestically.

I disagree with 1 comment.  You said as the country “rebuilds” itself.

It's not rebuilding anything given that to rebuild would indicate they had something that was damaged or destroyed.

Cuba is trying to build their country in the face of the Revolucin cuban who's anniversary date is July 26, 1953 when Fidel started the movement to oust President Batista..
 
That’s 70 years of trying to “build” a better life while being strangled by US sanctions…longest and most comprehensive sanctions in world history.
