To avoid confusing anyone, I assume you mean options. Or restricted or performance share units. I call them all "freebies". None have been awarded since January. I doubt there has been a blackout for 6 months. The history over the last year has been to award them around the time of the regularly scheduled quarterly board meeting. Not impromptu. It's possible they are currently in a blackout but it's not evidenced by the lack of freebies. If there was a blackout of freebies due to some M&A activity, it would also blackout market trades of common shares. There were transactions as recently as late May. Sorry, I'm going to go with, I don't know. Not enough evidence for me to say yes or no. BUT, if I were the CFO, I'd rather err on the side of an unnecessary blackout that violate securities regs and I'd , for sure, rely on advice from my lawyers and not stick the cfo neck out on the block. As a shareholder, I'd never buy shares based on blackout speculation. Try asking the company a trick question. They might slip up. Don't ask "hey is there a blackout"? Try this. "Hey I noticed no options, rsu, dsu awards for 6 months. Has the company maxed out on the limit they can issue?" And listen carefully to the answer. Sneaky eh? Pm me with the answer.  Mooohahaha.
