RE:My skeptical and optimistic takes on LME...

This is a very real take on this company and refreshing to see. As much as we all want to believe in the koolaid hype of $10/20/30 buyout, we should also step back and look at this without tinted glasses on.

LME stance has been an offer from cash buyers is the only deal to be done. However I find it hard to believe that it is sensible to take such a hard nosed approach when there may only be a very small number of potential suitors in the world. At this level, there is unlikely going to be a catfight between potential buyers. The likelihood is that if there is a potential buyer, they will make their offer in a 'take it or leave it' scenario. They are not going to be hoodwinked into unfavourable terms. At the level that we all want this to be sold at, there is very unlikely going to be a full cash offer on the table.

I remain a long and will not sell. We should all keep a reality check. As someone posted the other day, keep the expectations low, as to avoid disappointment.
