Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday revealed that he has received a letter warning him that he is a target in special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into his efforts to illegally remain in power after losing the 2020 election to President Joe Biden.

Writing on Truth Social, Trump decried that "HORRIFYING NEWS" that "Deranged Jack Smith" has made him the target of a January 6th-related grand jury probe.

Trump further added that the letter gave him "a very short 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and Indictment."

The former president then went into a familiar rant claiming that all of the indictments against him are a political "witch hunt" and predicted that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis would slap him with a fourth indictment in the coming weeks.

"THIS WITCH HUNT IS ALL ABOUT ELECTION INTERFERENCE AND A COMPLETE AND TOTAL POLITICAL WEAPONIZATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT!" he fumed. "It is a very sad and dark period for our Nation!"

Trump has already made history as the first American president to be impeached on two separate occasions, and he made further history this year when he was criminally indicted in two different jurisdictions on dozens of felony charges.

If Trump's post is accurate, he will now soon become the first twice-impeached, thrice-indicted president in American history.
