RE:Hot smokin Sasafrass!Well Kelvin , fortunately l will not be joining the Burn your Furniture Eco fools in the future. While l naturally have a backup Electric system , l heat exclusively with wood that l harvest on my own 50 acres ,and always keep a 2 year supply on hand. I do turn the electric system on for a few minutes twice a year just to burn off any residual dust or dog hair..My carbon footprint in regards to fossil fuels is pretty low as l only leave the property about twice a month , occasionally 3 times and even though l have to drive a 70 mile round trip to the nearest city , l only accumulate roughly 3000 miles a year on my 16 year old Jeep Compass.Thats me for most others world wide Oil and Gas is indispensable for continued survival and compared to Renewables much more affordable not that our eco elected officials would have a clue about survival or even care.as it doesn't effect them with indexed salaries and over the top pensions. There is no way this sector is going anywhere other than up as EVs and renewables can't possibly supply it today never mind with our current close a million a year immigration policy.I think most immigrants are a valuable asset to our country but if they were all millionaires they wouldn't be immigrating but are looking for a fresh start with the hope of a better future.
