There's no need to run a study like the WSJ did. They could simply contact BCE to learn if company has lead-shielded cabling and publish an article with their response while referencing the situation in the US. To date, nowhere in the CBC international news section is there a report on the issues uncovered by the WSJ. I figured the CBC would be running a basic story already since they have a strong focus on global environmental issues these days.
