The Future Bodes Well for Qples/FOBIListened to a Conexxus webinar (on YouTube) last night that included Brandi Johnson of The Coupon Bureau. Things are looking brighter for 8112, Qples and FOBI. Some interesting, highlight points noted below, if you don't want to listen to the whole thing. Though, if you're doing your DD, I would listen to the entire hour.
27:45 - Reference to very large, specific CPG's that are chomping at the bit to get 8112 into all the retailers from the national, regional and small CS (Convenience Stores)
P&G
ConAgra
Jack Links
Coca Cola
Nestle
Hershey
39:53 Reference to Retailers working/building on 8112
- The largest e-Com player in the market (Amazon is the world's largest e-com company)
- The largest mass retailer in the market building 8112 (Walmart is the world's largest mass retailer in the world)
- One of the largest, national Grocers in the USA connecting to 8112 (guessing Kroger or Albertsons; Costco is larger but I don't know if Costco takes coupons ... yet)
- A myriad of regional and mid-tier retailers builting 8112)
- Catalina (a FOBI partner globally and I believe in Japan) are looking to connect all their in store printers to 8112
- Top 50 CPG's are implementing/testing 8112
57:53 Question regarding the Canadian 8112 market
Looks like both Loblaws and Sobeys are working on the path to connectivity to implement 8112
The webinar took place in the last few days. It's a long, 1 hour, giving a lot of nuts and bolts of how 8112 works, but the insights as to which CPG's, Retailers (e-commerce and box), Grocers are well on their way to 8112 bodes well for Qples and FOBI.
