RE:Potential Pipeline BenefitsFrom what I've read, the transport costs on Trans Mountain are higher than companies were expecting. That aside, the increased takeaway capacity isn't the sole driver of the narrowed spread. The capline pipeline in the US that has reversed their flows leading to less congestion getting oil to refineries. It seems this narrowed spread is more structural than cyclical. Increased capacity on Enbridge's line 3 coupled with the reversed flow on Capline plus Trans Mountain coming online soon is going to be very good for our industry
