RE:RE:RE:RE:Difficult figuring the logic No different than buying a company with copper or exploring for copper, they are all speculative on the price of the minerals. In the case of NFG, yes the price of gold has an influence on the share price. However, you are also buying a company that has a pan ever expanding known deposit. The unknowns at this time are the extent of the deposit and the cost of exploration.
I would like to point out that this deposit might be exploited a very little by mining open pit, most will be underground. Why am I so positive re this company? The underground mining costs will diminish with the use of robotics. Already they are mapping underground using drones. And, most are forecasting an ever increasing price for gold. If you are in this for short term returns I have nothing to say, long term this is a definite winner, how much is yet to be determined. Retiredgeo say 70$, that is only on the area we know something about the geology, there are 10's of square kms that have not yet been drilled, and the cost of exploring this might be less with the use of seismic in these types of deposits.
Hold on to your hat.... by the way I am likely, as is Sprott, investing for my daughter.
