The Queensway gold mineralization is ~430 million years old. It dates back to a time when modern plate tectonics crashed proto-Africa in proto-North America obliterating the Iapetus ocean. It is true Orogenic mineralization related to mountain building from a continental collision.
They are similar only in deposit morphology and enormous scale.
High grade underground gold in the Abitibi averages 6-8 g/t. I'm sure the same will hold for Queensway. NFG has 6-8 g/t coming out the yin-yang!
