It keeps people informed about what changes and headwinds are on the horizon, and helps people observe and decide for themselves if the speed of this transition is at a pace that is greater than national and global oil demand growth, and how it may impact oil investments.
I for one appreciate the input, and although I think much of it is overhyped, some of it has changed my opinion enough to be more cautious, and to keep a watchful eye on the data as a leading indicator of the oil market.
As investors or traders, we must be vigilant to not get too caught up in our own confirmation bias, as it is human nature.
