Pathways: Need CLARITY Before Ordering Pipes For CO2 LineQ2/2023 CVE CC:
- the six companies in the Pathways Alliance REQUIRE a CLEAR ROADMAP on the taxation and investment tax credit schemes of the Canadian and Alberta goivernments BEFORE they order steel pipes for the 400+ kilometers CO2 pipeline
- CVE has already DONE the front-end engineering at Christina Lake for the CCS project and they are spending a good deal of time STUDING and MODELLING the CAPTURE and the PUMPING of the CO2 into the PROJECTED CO2 pipeline running through the SAGD site
- the Pathways Alliance is RESEARCHING and ASSESSING over 70 TECHNOLOGIES to REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS
