RE:RE:RE:Jim Farley: EV adoption will take longer than expectedKman86 wrote: Dead money because you sold?? You sound like an utter f*ol. Only in your world can it be considered a positive that companies are losing billions of dollars through there EV manufacturing and sales. The reality is that the majority of people aren't buying EVs. The more and more ICEs that are sold is in fact a great detriment to the EV push. We all know that people are generally driving their vehicles into the ground these days. The more and more ICEs sold takes away any potential EV customers.
of course you don't see that through your rose coloured Tesla glasses.
BTW, I thought you were on timeout and cool down? It sure didn't take you long to pipe back up. For someone so passionate about Tesla, you don't seem to be active in the Tesla board but instead would rather constantly return to this board.
So we're clear, I don't doubt the idea and reality of EVs becoming prominent in the future. I just don't buy into the current garbage being spewed from the greenies/leftists and that includes the people spewing it.
i guess some people don't understand why legacy auto want to lose money making EV, it's because gov't force them to. Anytime when gov't (central planning aka communism) pick winners and losers, economic efficiency suffer, and a net hit on nation's and their people wealth being. EV is not a novel idea, EV was invented (1830's) before ICE vehicle(1860's). Somehow, for some reason, ICE had kept EV under
ice (pardon the pun) for over 150 years. I'm not against EV, rather i want the freedom to choose without gov't playing favorite to few selected entities. Let the free market decide will yield the best solution.
