Edgewater Wireless Systems Inc V.YFI

Alternate Symbol(s):  KPIFF

Edgewater Wireless Systems Inc. is engaged in Spectrum Slicing technology for residential and commercial markets. The Company develops advanced wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) silicon solutions, access points, and intellectual property (IP) licensing designed to meet the service needs of service providers and their customers. Its physical layer Spectrum Slicing allows a frequency band to be divided, or sliced, to enable more radios to operate in a given area. Its silicon solutions are products delivering multiple, concurrent channels of Tx and Rx from a single, Wi-Fi standard compliant radio. Its Spectrum Slicing powered products are designed to address the needs of carrier-class, high-density Wi-Fi for both residential and commercial deployments. YFI tech does not slice up the spectrum. It broadcasts more than 1 signal at the same time in the same spectrum and uses tech to filter out overlapping noise.

Replying to @Wirelessnerd @mattmassey and

WiFi3 accomplishes 3 simultaneous channels by using the spectrum differently than traditional single-channel Wi-Fi. Instead of bonding adjacent channels, we instead use them simultaneously in 20Mhz channels (1,6,11). We then use our patented baseband chip to filter out the noise

And yet that which we call spectrum slicing kicks legacy single channel wi-fi architecture up to and including ALL today`s wi-fi systems up to and including WiFi6E in a comparative POc and follow up pilot.

Considering that even our staunchest critics were blind sided by the emergence of that POC what are the odds we will see the emergence of licensinmg and adoption of YFI`s proposed WiFi7 chip?

Oh, I forgot!  Our stanchest critics have yet to provide the forum evidence that they possess anything worthy of reaching the industry`s ear.
