RE:The way institutional investor's think fleetwood,
A very good post IMHO. Thanks for that.
If I may, I would like to expand a little further, by stating that like EXRO, the industries they serve also think 5 years out (at least). Every EV we see on the road today was designed between 5 and ten years ago. This of course means that the technology that EXRO is bringing to market is somewhere between 3 and 36 months from the beginnings of real revenue generation and recognition. (for both markets)
And once that technology becomes proven, the lead time for adding new customers, generating more revenues is reduced. I foresee a time when EXRO provides not much more than boards, schematics and software that enables OEM's to integrate at their own pace in accordance with their own designs. Although I hope EXRO maintains some manufacturing for the next gen, high value technology they design.
Now as for all on this board calling for the removal/replacement of certain executives, I would ask that you provide some clarity as to exactly what it is that these people are failing at.
The calibre of talent oft spoken about on this board does not come without significant costs, both in terms of cash (salary) and overall compensation (shares that vest immediately for example). The people you seek are currently employed (or at least they better be unless they are coming out of retirement). It will take a great package to get that talent.
When the time is right, any and all opportunities to improve will be examined. That is just the way this works. Everyone has an expiry date. Be patient.
In the meantime the company is making announcements that forecast future direction. These NDA partnerships are not entered into lightly as resources and risks (in particular time to market) are also absorbed by the other side.
Prior to the AGM, Sue announced her travel plans which as I recall were quite extensive for meetings with prospects and existing NDA partners. I would much rather her time and our money is spent on that sort of activity as opposed to putting on a fancy AGM.
There will be plenty of time for that.
