RE:Morningstar
RE:Morningstar I'm in the same camp! I don't understand why the market doesn't view the Canopy deal as forward movement for NDVA.
Canopy has a blackeye but still doing deals to advance their cause and show investors that they are still a formidable player.
Canopy, contracting Indiva to manufacture for Canada is huge as Wana gummies are a leader for consumers and that deal also secured Wana for the US market which Canopy is rapidly moving towards as they clean up the balance sheet in Canada.
Canopy has Acreage Holdings inked to a deal for Canopy to take over Acreage which is a US MSO doing business in 11 States with tail to snout operations.
I would imagine that NDVA might be able to supply the US marketplace with Wana through Canopy/Acreage under their new prospective name of Canopy USA.
Canopy paid $38 million cash to revisit the deal for Canopy to take over Acreage and the rest of the deal is Canopy shares and pushing it through US redtape.
STZ are the brains that influenced this deal and if they think they can join these two companies and also Jetty and Stors and Bickell, they have the clout and knowhow to make this happen.
Canopy USA will be formidable and maintains a leadership role in LPs and MSOs.
