RE:You are self teaching yourself on inflation cc123

FInally admitting inflationary pressures are real and not 1% or 2% anymore. Oh wait let me guess you probably got a 2% raise with your union and you are happy! Not sure you understand me when I write or my position?  I'm the saying that inflation is high, it's real and contributing to economic instability. Thats why I have also said that the FED is bound and determined to reduce inflation by increasing interest rates.

You kerp providing inflationary posts. This is good for Sherritt and ni prices in the long cycle. Prices go up.  Inflation is not a price increase, it's dollar devaluation.  The price of ni goes up but in response to inflation so do wages and input costs...how are you ahead?  And if ni prices do go up, this may also hinder demand for the product thereby hurting the company when it has to contend with increased costs and lower sales.

oh are you admitting the long cycle is real? I actually don't really care about any long or short cycle.  I'm trying to make money now, when I need it.  Now 30 years from now when I might be pushing up daisies.

oh reality hitting back with your constant search for education you actually might learn something My mind is always open to learning but I also question things.  I won't be following any lemmings over a cliff.  Not only do things have to make sense but they have to be consistent with what I see happening around me.

Infiation in the long cycle destroys retirements and fixed incomes from retirement Yes, inflation does diminish the value of currency.  Hence the reason I keep saying that it has to be brought under control.

Your IRA retirement fund will never keep up with inflationary pressures . Ever! I feel sorry for pensioners from a decade ago. They have lost their purchasing power. Yes the current inflation has bitten a chunck out of pensions.  Given that the largest cohort of the population (baby boomers) is fully starting their retirement, this will decrease economic activity due to less money in their pockets.  They may also tend to stay longer at work which deprives the young big spenders from having a job...like in China at the moment and Europe.

food bank and food stamps

I'd like to get opinions from the board other than yours VerificateASAP. Is my rational on or off base in regards to the economy/Sherritt.  Keep it respectful, afterall we are supposed to be having civilized discourse in a land of freedom.  Everyone has an opinion, what's yours?
