The well has 150 metres of Net Pay and is flowing at a rate of
500 Barrels a Day of 41-degree oil.
The Rig will now skid to the next location, and drilling will begin
immediately.

Any of us who've been around The Oil Patch for any length of time know.....
This is how it happens!

But, there will be a cash build of some magnitude that will allow drilling to resume in locations of Art's choice without the need for a cap raise. Unless of course they find a very large oil or gas field and need development capital. So, sell and buy back in 9 months or hold. I for one want to see what they can do by re-perfing existing wells. The flow rates might be an upside surprise. Also, winter may drive gas prices back up.
Disagree. There are actual potential catalysts here that can wake any dead. Take a look at small/mid cap comparables. Even large caps. Very few producers have any significant material "catalysts" for the next year, or had catalysts for the last year. The industry wide catalysts for almost all the strong stock prices, has been commodity prices and balance sheet improvement. There is very little actual growth from capex or M&A activity. Capex or M&A financed with debt is just not a material "catalyst" to higher stock prices. See baytex. Crapped the bed after the ranger acquisition until strong rebound in wti almost got the stock back to where it was. Almost, but it's still down. Dividends? Nope, increases seem to have zero catalytic impact and cuts are brutal. Many have share buybacks but without wti recent move over 80 that wouldn't matter either. So, it boils down to the upside leverage to higher commodity prices like my ATH. Having future POTENTIAL from future drilling programs that can actually move the needle are rare. TCF has needle moving exploration potential. Now , IF they ALSO have a NPV of $1.50 as advertised by glad he ate her, then I'm buying more. Much more. Best of both worlds. If the NPV discount is that huge, it will narrow as it becomes broadly recognized. PLUS some game changing upside? It's like an existing high return gold mine with a deposit open in all directions. Yes please!
Yeah OIL and GAS play would surely SKYROCKET Trillion energy into the MULTI DOLLAR REALM
..right now however we are making MONEY DAILY just on the GAS PLAY which is beimg MAXIMIZED for PROFIT....
