NPK has over 200,000 tons of CO2 Credits AlreadyApprox 1.5 million tons of Greensand fertilizer has been sold since 2019 which is about 230,000 tons of permanent CO2 credits in the bag.
I say in the bag because GS derivative permanent sequestered CO2 credits have been scientifically and tecnically certified.
One presumes that whomever this large buyer or group of buyers are, they will need certification of said CO2 credits in order to use them to offset their bow emissions .
So, that is the case.
The plants grown from such fertilizer would also produce net C02 credits but the ownership of such credits remains uncertain to me.
I presume the grower and not NPK..
And yes, I Do know that Brazil is a diversified food producer with 41.3 million acres planted with corn..
