RE:Heat Pumps Replacing Natural Gas FurnacesFYI:  the guy next door had an electric furance   ;>( 
.switched to a heat pump some years back with electric back up
 then finally got NG installed & still Happy both cost  & service.
 ..Took  that family a long Time to recover the prior added expenses.
Live & learn,  Bet there is alot of history like this....
  All homes in the area are now NG.
