It works like this if you can produce 1000 bopd but only truck 250 bopd you dont have a over supply in storage.. 1000 minus 250 does not leave 750 barrels in storage. You may have a fleet of 20 trucks but its on a 3 to 1 ratio. You get a permit for 1 out of every 4 trucks. Now if you say why not sell the Oil via pipeline. I believe they tried that route with 8000 -10000 barrels flowing down the Umugini pipeline to the Trans Forcados terminal early in the fall of 2022. I dont believe DKL ever got paid for that Production. Must have been just test Oil from OZA 1 and you not likely going to get paid for that type of production. Its just a test to see if you will get paid. They dont call it line losses because it higher than the Normal 30 percent that goes missing. I think the CFO and CEO both understand the math in Nigeria. Look at the latest financials to see who is getting paid.
