RE:RE:RE:RE:Last I heard …they will definitely need to do some bit trips, no question about that. i can 100% assure you that the service company that is drilling is getting paid by the day, if the rig just sitting there, Gold terra will need to pay a stand by rate for the rig and possibly for the crew (if Gold terra really wants the same crew)
There is no company i've ever seen willing to leave equipment on site without getting paid. especially when it's busy out there and the drilling company can be working for someone else actually paying for there services.
my guess is drilling is going super slow, they haven't found the best drill bit for the super hard ground and it's costing YGT lots of money in bits, and in time.
will be interesting if ygt calls it quits as it's getting very expensive to drill (if in fact they decided to stop drilling and give everyone a break)
