The rest of the Rick Rule

The rest of the Rick Rule

"For me personally, the natural resource theme is of more importance than the technology theme," said Rule. "The very simplicity of natural resources is an attraction. If you find a commodity that's necessary for the future of humankind—where the price is too low to sustain current production—either the price goes up or that commodity becomes unavailable."

Rule warned that resource investing takes patience.

"Robert Friedland says from conception to production it takes 30 years to make a mine. If your orientation is three months, you are never going to win. It takes persistence and tenacity."

Rule said you also need to swing for the fences.

That describes BTR to a T in my opinion. fruitvale3067 left this out. dare I ask why?
