Whether HEAT presents a viable alternative to EXRO is certainly debatable, but unless HEAT intends to turn over its treasure to 3rd parties to complete the journey to certification and commercialization, it too will need to raise many many millions of dollars, starting YESTERDAY as its balance sheet is simply not capable of supporting much more than the the spend associated with its current marketing efforts.
Either approach works, with one taking no less time to commercialize than EXRO and the other providing considerably less upside.
HEAT has yet to declare how they intend to pursue the market from what I can see.
So to your point, I don't think HEAT is a one trick pony. It's a no trick pony at present.
