RE:RE:RE:Why not a buyout ?Agreed on EVERYTHING you said.........Unfortunately.
As to the difficulty in "raising capital" for the Canadian O&G sector, for whatever reason it may be, be it for M&A or to support/advance ongoing operations, is a faaaaar cry from the Rock & Rolln" good times situation it was in the 90's or even around as recent as 2010. In it's heyday, the M&A business was bustling & very active, when the Europeans, The Chinese and especially the deep pocketed Americans 8) ALL poured in to get a piece of that lucrative action. Now that's ALL done, dead & buried never to be seen again. Only the Canadian led corporations are left. A rather, very tragic national travesity for Canada as whole and the industry in general if one think about it.
Who knew that an entire generation of folks would go off the deep end, right off the Indian reserve and totally lose their marbles by going deep, all in...... into the Climate Change & ESG narrative B5 that has brainwashed so many. Canada had such bright future, a vast fortune right under it's feet, to keep it going for generations to come, but unfortunately got flushed down the toilet by it's OWN people when they accidently shot themselves into both feet by buying into the nonsense and electing those to pwer to destroy that wealth
If one actually wished that alternative realities & extra dimensions were real, this one case would totally justify such a desire to become a reality.
