Neighbours

Neighbours There is a neighboring explorer (GAND) that seems to frequently mention that one of their claims, one they see as highly prospective, is “only” 15 km from Queensway, others are more like 25.  Given the geologic formations in the region, and given my very limited understanding of geosciences, it doesn’t make sense to me that GAND investors should feel encouraged by the success of NFG; the underground characteristics of the rocks wouldn’t be very predictable across lateral extents in the dozens of kms.  They seem to have this ingenious soil sampling prospecting approach which also gives them confidence, but again I am skeptical; the timeframes involved in surface processes would be decades and centuries, whistle underground it would be eons.

Anyway, my question/thought is:  we speculate a lot about when/if a major or mid-tier miner sweeps in and buys up NFG, does it seem likely or even possible that there would instead/first be broad consolidation of some the many junior explorers working in NFL? Once and if they prove up they have a winning stake, and some of those winners are contiguous, they come together and form a more valuable package?
