RE:Delta 9 has to do like Tilray today beer segment a good idea? IDK. It all depends on their ambitions there. It concerns me about where they want to take this. Are they thinking of going really big (acquisition perhaps) or are they more cost effectively in-house brewing a SKU or two as an addition to their existing beverage offerings, to test the market before commiting huge capital costs and/or shareholder dilution.
I want Delta 9 to stick to their knitting. Get profitable first. Keep chipping away at operating expenses and build out the segments they already have, especially the the grow-pod sales where they have the largest margins.
I would also prefer that they build out their automated joint production capacity. Again, a higher margin product since cost reducing automation tech has been bought, and because the pre-roll convenience represents value that consumers are willing to pay extra for.
Prove your existing business model first. Only then go explore and try your hand in other business lines.
