RE:CIBC Earnings ReportIt is important for Can. Investors to realize that because it reports in U.S. $ that the exchange rate adds ~25% to the NAV/u and the target price putting them at ~$25 Can. It has been buying units at a ~40% discount so clearly most investors are missing this. It remains vulnerable to a takeout If the large holders can be convinced.

Interesting on the conference call that expansion and growth is not out of the picture because of the interest rate environment. That would suggest that some competition might be in financial trouble so presenting a compelling opportunity. It would have to be confident that the public market would be supportive. If so, that is a huge advantage over those that fund through the private market.
