RE:Well , it's good to seeCountryBoy69, A few points 1) Ftiedrich Hayek said that the root cause of all economic distress is the waste of capital. Capital should be deployed in the most efficient manner possible in order to produce even more capital in order to increase the standard of living of as many people as possible. Does JT waste capital? Resoundingly yes and lots of it! Are people's standard of living increasing? You gotta measure everything in time to answer that. How many hours did a plumber have to work say 10 years ago to buy/rent housing and a given basket of goods and services and how many more hours does that plumber work today to acquire the same?
2) The brainwashing started when I was a kid in the 1950s and 60s with Robin Hood. "Steal from the rich and give to the poor." Robin Hood was made out to be a good guy, a heroe. Anybody who was rich was bad. It never occured to anybody that good people got rich too by actually working? Why steal from them, get off your butt and start working should have been the message. Robin Hood was a theiving parasite. Nothing else. Unfortunately some policians are following the Robin Hood modus operandi with great support because they're seen as good guys by the "poor". I see them down here in the tropics all the time. "The Sunshine Club" they're called.
3) Renewable energy: It's not renewable. There's no such thing. If something were renewable then no waste or pollution would be created. So which source of energy produces the least waste and pollution. Hydrocarbons.
