As good as the Gochager property looks there is new scientific data indicating that the target at Albert Lake could even be better. That target is indeed a monster with dimensions of 450 meters by 150 meters. To put that in terms people can understand that is almost as large as the Ovoid at Voisey's Bay that was 32 million tonnes of nickel copper and cobalt that sold for 4.3 billion dollars back in the mid 90's when metal prices were 1/3 what they are today. Amazing.

And for anybody not familiar with Fathom Nickel story, the old Rottenstone Mine back in the 60's at Albert Lake was only about one km away and it had an average grade near 3% nickel, 2% Copper and 10 g/t platinum group elements. It was one of the highest grade base metals mine on the planet. Yes the pieces of the puzzle are coming together. FNI shareholders could very well end up with two or more world class high grade nickel deposits. This is awesome news!!! Fasten your seatbelts FNI shareholders because this is going to be an awesome ride. Yes it may take a little while but by this time next year I suspect FNI will be trading at several dollars a share. See comments below on the CEO Forum board. Interest is building in Fathom Nickel.

@beaglehound I'm no geologist but reading between lines, this latest news release is cause for celebration. " Modelling of this conductor suggests a very conductive, flat lying body with an area that is approximately 450m x 150m and is situated approximately 300 meters below surface." WOW! I think they will find a deposit at Albert Lake. Grade and size will be the defining moment. I am excited about Gochager. I am ecstatic about Albert Lake! Even more exciting is drilling begins in just 2 weeks at Gochager and then 4-5 short months they start drilling at Albert Lake. I don't know if the last $3M financing is enough to carry them through both projects but if things play out as hoped at Gochager the company may be in a position to do a significant financing to further its plans. This is really sounding good so far.

@austin64 Agreed bought more this morning this story is just starting and it is a monster.

For comparison purposes the Voisey's Bay Ovoid had dimensions below. So it was perhaps double the size of that target at Albert Lake. Voisey's Bay sold for $4.3 billion dollars back in the Mid 90's

The physical size of the Ovoid is 350 by 600 meters and 110 meters thick. It had an average grade of 2.83%. Ni, 1.5% Cu and .15 Co with worked out to roughly 32 million tonnes. Dr

The richest body, the Ovoid occupies a 350x600 m basin shaped body that is up to 110 m deep at the thickest point, tapering upwards towards the margins.
